After starting out with television work during the early 1990s, Scott Michael Campbell landed a multi-episode stint as EMT Riley Brown on the phenomenally popular medical drama "ER" in 1996. A year later, he co-starred as Father Eric on the drama "Nothing Sacred," which despite strong reviews only lasted one season. These two roles, along with plenty of guest-starring work through the 1990s, were enough to keep Campbell working with great frequency, including a small part in the Academy Award-winning "Brokeback Mountain" in 2005. In 2010, Campbell had a recurring role in the sci-fi-action series "The Event."
